This webinar, "Part 2 - Effective Advocacy for Long-Term Care Providers in Wisconsin," picks up where we left off from LeadingAge Wisconsin Advocacy 101 and is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and strategies to effectively advocate for long-term care priorities during Wisconsin’s 2025-27 budget cycle. The session will provide an in-depth overview of the state’s budget process and the roles of key legislators, important advocacy messages tailored to diverse audiences, and practical tips for impactful meetings with legislators. Participants will leave with the tools to confidently engage in advocacy efforts that support funding priorities and investments in long-term care, and policies to strengthen the direct care workforce.
